Our Dams

Our dams are the heart of Alpine Sky Goldens. Each one is a certified therapy dog, working alongside us as her handlers through Canines for Service, where they bring comfort, connection, and joy to people throughout our community. They are carefully chosen for their exceptional health, steady temperaments, and the loving, intuitive nature that defines the Golden Retriever breed.

These remarkable females not only carry outstanding pedigrees but also live the mission of our program every day demonstrating the calm, compassionate spirit we strive to pass on to each generation of Alpine Sky puppies.

Penny, Roxy, and Yuki got their therapy dog certifications in May of 2025 and we are planning litters in 2026. They are certain to have sweet-tempered, gorgeous pups! Some will be future therapy dogs, and all will be part of loving families.

** PENNY **

Meet Penny, a 100% Dutch beauty from a remarkable pairing of our girl Sky and Hereosgold’s McCoy, both from the Netherlands. Penny embodies the stunning looks and charming personality of Sky, including her lovely easy keep coat.  

Penny is a certified therapy dog who has a friendly, sweet personality and is a social butterfly who makes friends everywhere she goes, with a special love of children. Recently at a 3rd grade literacy program at a local elementary school we had to drag her away - she takes her job very seriously!

She thrives on routines and ensures she never misses a chance to see her favorite people.  She eagerly spins with excitement when you put your shoes on, eager to join you on any adventure. Penny is a curious and clever communicator, always eager to trade toys for whatever catches her eye. Her playful and engaging personality makes her a delight to be around, which makes her the perfect therapy dog! 

Penny has passed all of her health clearances including advanced cardiac testing with a board-certified cardiologist, OFA hips, elbows, & eyes and all other Golden Retriever panel tests, including PRA 1 & 2 and Ichthyosis.

Introducing beautiful Roxy, who is from a nice pairing of our beloved Kaya and Hereosgold’s Sailor. She has a loving temperament which makes her the perfect therapy dog and cuddly companion. Roxy’s favorite thing to do is roll over for belly scratches the moment she meets someone, showcasing her gentle and affectionate nature. Roxy is perfectly suited for her job and is already spreading love and joy in the community. .  

Roxy has passed almost all her health clearances including advanced cardiac testing with a board-certified cardiologist, OFA Eyes, Elbows, and all other Golden Retriever panel tests, including PRA 1 & 2 and Ichthyosis.

Let’s welcome Yuki (Penny’s sister), another 100% Dutch beauty from a remarkable pairing of our girl Sky and Hereosgold’s McCoy, both from the Netherlands. Yuki is a gorgeous, sweet girl with creamy, easy-to-keep coat, and a loving personality. She got her therapy dog certification with Canines for Service in 2025 and has been out in the community spreading love ever since. 

Besides being a social butterfly, she is an avid swimmer who enjoys daily laps in her families backyard pool. Yuki loves any adventure and gets super-excited when she realizes she is going to be in a social setting and engage with people.

Yuki has passed all of her health clearances and has a CHIC rating (which includes advanced cardiac testing with a board-certified cardiologist), OFA eyes, hips, elbows, and all other Golden Retriever panel tests, including PRA 1 & 2 and Ichthyosis.
